Super Sprint 4's derive their name from the origin of the chassis and engine.  The chassis are generally any sprint kart chassis that can accept a single engine. 

Engines are free, limited only by their capacity, which must not exceed 210cc. Commonly used engines inclede the Briggs and Stratton Vanguard, World Formula, Animal, and Honda. Engines can be modifies but the use of turbo charging, super charging or chemical supercharging is not permitted.

Normal fuel is to be used, Methanol and avgas is not permitted. Carburettors are free, as is exhaust and clutched. Gearing is likewise free. Tyres must be MG Yellows, wet weather tyres are yet to be determined by the category promotor (Prokart).
